Cresta Jones, DVM

Dr. Cresta Jones earned her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Virginia Tech (VMCVM) and has since gained 25 years of experience in small animal medicine. The vast majority of that time has been spent in the Richmond area, with a brief stint on the west coast.
In that time, Dr. Jones has come to enjoy learning and utilizing a wide skill set in the pursuit of improving the lives of pets and their humans. With a strong background in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology, she has also incorporated acupuncture into her practice over the last decade to help alleviate musculoskeletal and neurological disorders in conjunction with traditional approaches.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her family and friends, often while cooking. You can also find her reading and taking walks, but her real passion is travel. Her fun fact is that she’s been to all 50 states and is currently working on an international checklist.
She is excited to find a professional home at Stratford Hills Veterinary Center as she looks forward to expanding the strong ties she has made in the area having lived in Bon Air for the past 15 years.
